[MUSIC] 2 New Substantial Songs On ‘2 Hungry Bros’ Album
written by QN5 on May 15, 2008

Be sure to check out “Cruise Control” and “Dr. Feelgood” by Substantial
For those unfamiliar, 2 Hungry Bros consists of Ben Boogie & DEEP from the L.E.S. (That’s Lower East Side for you NYC newbs). They’ve been producing much material for the NYC underground for some years now, including the remix of “Spaticus” on Substantial’s QN5 RMX VOL.4 – Substantial Edition. They’ve just released their new production album, Table Manners, which features vets like C Rayz Walz, Pumpkinhead, and Many Styles as well as some up and comers (Fresh Daily, Homeboy Sandman, etc).
Continuing his epic roll of musical output and buzz, Substantial has contibuted 2 brand new offerings to the mix for you to sink your teeth into. “Dr. Feelgood” is a breezy feel-good anthem for your summertime whip escapades and “Cruise Control” gets your shoulders working with a dusty double-time bouncer.
So, if you like your hip hop dirty and dusty sounding – peep the snippets for a taste and then pick up the album from CD Baby – Support the new crop of independent Hip Hop out of NYC.
