Now look, we know this is a little more $$$ than some of our other shows but it’s important that you all come out and support the cause. As many of you know, Substantial has remained very active in the community and has always made an effort to help youth around the country. This is an opportunity for you to get involved as well and help raise money for Baltimore City Schools’ Music Programs.
Here are some more details about the event.
“At Houlihan’s, we can’t imagine a world without music. So, Houilhan’s Restaurants, Inc. and Vh1 Save the Music Foundation (STMF) have teamed up to make sweet music together and raise funds for charity. A benefit concert at the Houlihan’s Pier IV/Power Plant in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor will feature the rock cover band Rebels in Rehab (www.rebelsinrehabl.com) and Maryland’s own hip-hop master, Substantial (www.Substantial-Music.com). Music genres unite for a kickin’ evening of food, music and charity.
General admission is $27 and includes a drink coupon; special appetizer menu available. Limited availability, V.I.P. admission is $47: includes drink coupon, appetizers and gift bag. Net proceeds from the concert will be donated to Vh1’s Save the Music Foundation. Baltimore is a huge market for STMF. Eighty (80) instrumental music programs have been granted to the Baltimore City Public School System, totaling $2,000,000 worth of musical instruments since 1999. And, Baltimore is on the list of cities that will be supported in 2008 through partners like Houlihan’s. The concert is underwritten, in part, by the Sugar Association. In addition to the concert, the net proceeds of all desserts ordered at Houlihan’s through March 31st will go to the STMF as well. So, eat your dessert! There are kids in America who aren’t getting any music.”
So all DMV area blue schoolers come out and join Substantial and help support this very worthy cause.
ENJOY!

Stan this is wonderful. I love it when artist do more than create music; they create change.
