Tonedeff is a multifaceted emcee/producer/singer/songwriter. Hailing from NYC’s esteemed underground scene, Tone gained notoriety as one of the most promising emcees to emerge in years. Furious polysyllabic delivery paired with incredibly intricate lyricism, and an ear for catchy songwriting and production have set him apart from his peers. The founder of QN5 Music has a clear cut goal of “changing music” and making sure talented artists have an outlet for The New Hip-Hop.

PackFM is the ferociously energetic emcee, freestyle monster, and graf artist who’s debut album, whutduzFMstand4? is one of the best reviewed albums of 2006. This Brooklyn native has earned his rep the hard way: countless shows, stellar guest appearances, solid musicianship and a natural born star quality. PackFM has worked with damn near everyone and regularly crashes parties with longtime homey, Poison Pen.

Consummate Melodist. Those two words summarize Kno’s fundamental application of harmonic aesthetics to beats. A master of collage, Kno creates a blur of melancholic fare and ethereal haze over drums to die for. In plain english – Kno is one talented beatmaking motherfucker. All you have to do is check out his sprawling masterpiece called A Piece Of Strange for proof. Kno lives in Lexington, KY.

Brooklyn resident “Substantial”, originally from Maryland, is an emcee in the truest sense of the word. He has spent the last several years developing his skill as an outstanding lyricist and upholding the art of beat boxing (which he feels is a lost element of hip-hop). Like most hip-hop artist, his surroundings influenced his music as he began to come of age. But not in the way that it has influenced most. Instead, Substantial chooses to illustrate through his music how no matter what the obstacle you can over come. “If reality sucks, why would you want to ‘keep it real’, when we can make it better! Life is what we make it.”
